Twin Boro Pest Control greets the Special Olympics Torch relay team

Every so often you get a chance to do something out of the ordinary to support your community. Today was that day for the crew at Twin Boro Pest Control.

You see, each year the annual Special Olympics Torch Relay runs through local towns on their way to the games venue. This year, the event was routed through areas not far from our office in Westwood, NJ.

A team of Police Officers was about to carry the Special Olympics Torch right past us on their way to the host venue at The College of New Jersey in Ewing so we decided to join the fun and show our support.

Given the torch bearers were and supporters were jogging, we figured everyone would need water. So we loaded up a few coolers and handed out waters to every participant we could reach. Lots of fun!

Maybe we’ll see you there next year.
